Head over to the mathematics forum. It’s definitely a brain challenge but no one is fighting (or at least very infrequently LOL). See if you can remember how to calculate greatest common factors (remember those from 4th grade ?LOL!!)
Sorry, this is not a question, just a suggestion to reduce stress if you need it :)
“Are you proposing a raid?”
Hmmm…what an intriguing idea…

Analyze the company’s working capital management. Explain why the company’s operating and cash cycles are currently optimized. If you think they are not optimized, explain why.

Or is this past Monday January 2, 2008 worse because of the bursting of an inflated housing market pumped up by irresponsible subprime lenders( including the banks & many wallstreet firms in the finance business) and their pyramid schemes!

see—> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Monday_(1987)
correction: I meant Jan 21, NOT Jan 2.
Some answers make me question whether there is a conflict of interest present bec I see alot of defending and not enough criticizing. A balanced view would criticize several parties in an appropriate way. I wonder how many middlepeople are at YA pushing what’s best for them in this category. The lack of ethics is appalling on the part of those involved. I include investors, credit consumers, the money-lenders and the industries involved in finance including many wallstreet firms are all guilty of the lack of ethics.
500 pt drop in one day or two days represents more money in real constant dollars today compared to 1987. Also the companies on mainstreet haven’t caused the ugly subprime pyramid mess based on leveraged playing around wih other people’s money. Like I said, when I see defending more than I see criticizing it makes me very suspicious.
In the interest of a balanced view, I offer this link to a news article on wednesday’s (01/23) stock market recovery: http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/080123/wall_street.html?printer=1

The addition does not invalidate my Q, IMO.
Maybe “A lot of people deserve the consequences of living beyond their means.” : but why am I as a non-real-estate investor-speculator taking the hit?
“My bank wanted to give me a bigger mortgage than I would even lend myself.”
QED
Risk based on truths is OK, anything else is irresponsibe.
