Jada asked: My husband is in his mid-40s and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree as well as an MBA in international business and finance. His whole life he has worked for himself as a day trader/investor. At one point in his life, he was doing well at this but now alot of money has been lost and we have a family to support. He wants to find a position with a company (no longer be self employed), and is willing to work himself up due to his lack of experience, but he is not getting called, probably because he has no professional references. I would also like to add that we live in a small isolated city of approximately 75,000 where good jobs are hard to come by. We are considering packing up and moving to a bigger city with more opportunities. Anybody have any advice on how to go about this? Would his chances of getting his foot in somewhere be better in a bigger city?
I want to add that we cannot afford that he works on a commission-based income only. We need to know exactly how much will be coming in each week (both his income and mine)
